Two men charged after Queanbeyan robbery

Police have charged two men after a teenage boy was allegedly robbed in Queanbeyan on Friday evening.

Police have been told two teenage boys were at the intersection of Antill Street and Crawford Street, Queanbeyan, about 7pm (9 November) when they were approached by a group in a dark-coloured Nissan Dualis.

Police will allege that occupants of the vehicle robbed one of the teenage boys, stealing a mobile telephone, cash, and a skateboard. The group left the scene in the vehicle.

On the evening of Monday 12 November 2012, two men, aged 18 and 19 years, were charged with robbery in company.

They were granted conditional bail and are to appear before Queanbeyan Local Court on 10 December 2012.

Detectives are appealing for information from members of the public who may have witnessed the incident. The scene is a busy intersection near the Aldi and Woolworth supermarkets at Queanbeyan.
