It is one of the florist's busiest time with hundreds of important deliveries to be made and bouquets to be bundled up.
Mr Hale said he started taking orders about two weeks ago for Valentine's Day and expects plenty more walk-ins on the day from those who might have left it to the last minute.
"On Valentine's Day we always have a big queue of customers, it's probably about a 10 minute wait," he said.
"You're better off pre-ordering so you can walk-in and grab it and with deliveries you definitely want to pre-order that too."
With red roses the flower of the day, Mr Hale estimates they will sell 300 dozen roses flown in from Columbia.And Mr Hale said you can extend the life of any beautiful bulbs you might be lucky to receive next Thursday with these simple tips.
"Re-cut stems when you get home, use the flower food provided and try and keep the vase filled with water," he said.
