The game marks a personal milestone for Bennett, who is yet to play a first grade grand final and on the historic Manuka surface.

But he said Queanbeyan's hitmen, including himself, all-rounder Vele Dukoski, paceman Same Taylor, skipper Blake Dean and Guy Gillespie, will need to take each bastmen as a threat.

Wests/UC just about nailed Eastlake to the Earth's core in last weekend's semi-final action, amassing a total of 584 runs.

They scored 444 batting first before rolling Eastlake for 243, then came out for a second blast of 0/140.

Bennett said Queanbeyan's bowlers should force errors with good line and length.

"They [Wests/UC] haven't been that consistent all year long," he said. "I think there are some vulnerabilities in their line-up and just cause they performed last week doesn't mean we're feeling threatened as a bowling unit."

Queanbeyan conceded more runs than what they scored in last week's draw against ANU, but Bennett said that was down to seven dropped catches and not their bowling form.

He said their line and length created a lot of chances, and that they would have to take them against Wests/UC.

"We just have to be patient and maintain our areas, especially because the Wests batsmen attack a lot," he said. "If we cut down their areas, an edge or a false shot will come."

Bennett said Matthew Condon, Ethan Bartlett and Adam Hewitt, who scored 227 runs between them last week, were the most threatening hitters.

But given the recent rain and overcast conditions, he believes the bowlers will be able to dictate more of the game.

He said bowling combinations would win them their first title since 2011/12.

"There's always a battle between bowler and batsmen, but that's built from the other bowler keeping the pressure," he said.
