TWO cars, stolen from the ACT, have been torched in the Queanbeyan region in separate incidents over the weekend.

Acting inspector Graeme Bailey said police haven't ruled out the possibility that the incidents may be linked.
"We can't say if there's a definite link as one incident occurred out of town but it is a possibility. It's something police will be looking at while they conduct their investigations," he said.
A 2005 blue Ford Falcon, believed to be stolen from Chisholm, was torched on London Bridge Road, Burra.
The incident occurred at about 4.10am on Saturday, April 12.
Police were called out to attend another vehicle fire in Belah Place, Queanbeyan on Sunday, April 13 at about 5.40am.
A 1989 white Ford Laser, also stolen from the ACT, was on fire and extensively damaged as a result of the blaze.

A PREGNANT woman was taken to Canberra Hospital as a precaution after she was involved in a three car accident on Thursday, April 11.
The incident occurred on the corner of Carrington and Waterloo Street Queanbeyan at about 1.30pm.
Two vehicles were parked on the side of the road as the car owners were attempting to jump start one of the vehicles. A third car hit one of the parked cars which collided into the one in front of it.
Two pedestrians, including the pregnant woman, were standing in between the cars and were hit during the incident. However, police report no serious injuries were sustained.

A 21-year-old Queanbeyan male is serving eight months in jail after he was caught driving on a disqualified licence.
The young man was arrested after a short pursuit around Nimmitabel Street, Queanbeyan at about 9am on Friday, April 11.
The accused appeared at Queanbeyan Local Court later that day. He was sentenced to eight months jail with a non-parole period of three months and disqualified from driving for three years.

A SMALL amount of property has been stolen from a Carwoola residence following a break and enter on Friday, April 11.
Queanbeyan Police are continuing their investigation into the Radcliffe Circuit robbery. To gain entry into the residence a person or people has forced the lock and smashed the glass front door.
Police believe the robbery occurred between 8.30am and 2.45pm that day. Anyone with any information can called Queanbeyan Police on 6298 0555.
