The Whites player of 21 years is well in line for another Wallabies call-up after a strong start for the Reds this season.
He said while he was not thinking of adding to his 29 test caps, if he played well he could be selected for the Rugby Championship and European Spring Tour.
"Fingers crossed. You don't play to not play for the Wallabies," he said.
"But in saying that you work hard, and hopefully I can have success in a Wallabies jersey again."
Ironically his milestone game was against his former ACT teammates whom he left in 2010 with brother Anthony to chase his rugby dream and hit the big time in the sport.
His belief in destiny came when fellow Wallabies hooker Stephen Moore signed with the Brumbies at the time, making for what he thought was a perfect switch.
"Again, you create your own destiny. When I moved to Brisbane I signed when Stephen Moore was still in Queensland and we just did a straight swap," he said.
"I said 'right I'm going to Queensland', a club that was in the doldrums at the time, but that meant there was opportunity to stand out."
His 100th game was spoiled by the Brumbies, who grinded out a 23-20 revenge win after the Reds' 27-17 round one win over them.
Fellow Queanbeyanite Nic White impressed Faingaa against superstar half Will Genia, but Faingaa said both were good enough to start for the Wallabies later this year.
