DESPITE the Queanbeyan Blues having made a tough come-from-behind win against the Goulburn Bulldogs last week, coach Simon Woolford is not looking for an edge over the competition with victory over the Kangaroos.

The Blues were in trouble early at Goulburn Workers Arena being down 18-0 with the home side's kicking game taking control, but they soon found their feet and fired out 26 points in the second half to steal a confidence boosting win.
And victory over cross-town rivals the Queanbeyan Kangaroos tomorrow would put them in good stead as they next play a top five side from last season in round six.
But Woolford said his men would just be focusing on improving on scrappy periods in last week's game.
"It was great to get the win first up, but all we'll be looking to do this week is improve on last week's performance so if we can do that and we're at home, we'll give ourselves a chance anyway," he said.
However he admitted avenging last year's grand final against the Kangaroos would set a benchmark for the rest of the competition.
"We'll stamp ourselves as one of the teams to beat again that's for sure," he said.
"You don't want to be playing your best footy in April but you certainly want to be getting some wins, so we'll certainly get a confidence boost with a win this week."
The Kangaroos face a more challenging task themselves, facing each of last year's top five until round six when they take on Gungahlin, but should they claim victory over the Blues tomorrow, there would be little reason why they could not get positive results.
