Sometime before 7.30am on Sunday, June 1, two males entered a house on Bicentennial Drive, Jerrabomberra.
The two males threatened and bound the 36-year-old male resident and assaulted him whilst demanding cash. The male resident then handed over some cash and the men left the premises.
Police from the Monaro Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene, which was examined by forensic specialists.
Police believe that that this was not a random attack and the offenders have targeted the victim.
