The exhibition will continue until Tuesday, July 22 and is part of NAIDOC Week celebrations.
Queanbeyan City Council Mayor Tim Overall said the response from the indigenous community this year had been overwhelming with over 12 artists submitting work.
"Council would like to thank artist and coordinator Kathryn Williams for her work in getting this wonderful exhibition together.
"Kathryn and Burrunju Indigenous Community Links have worked in partnership with Council to make this year's exhibition a huge success and I encourage as many people as possible to come and have a look at this colourful and imaginative display of work," Cr Overall said.
As well as paintings there is wood work and jewellery. Most items are for sale. The official opening of the exhibition is at 6pm next Tuesday, July 8 at The Q Performing Arts Space, everyone is welcome.
