The marketing-communications co-ordinator decided it was time to get into a spring health kick and sign up for national Walk to Work Day. She said she wanted to walk from her Queanbeyan home to her workplace in Deakin in the name of healthy living.
"I initially thought about doing a partial walk or something like that, but then I thought I'd just go for it," Ms Morgan said.
"I'm not going a very direct way, because I want to walk around the lake [Burley Griffin] for some part of the walk, but I'll probably come home the direct way," she said.Formerly a resident of New York City, Ms Morgan said she missed being able to walk everywhere and was looking forward to the challenge.
