A 2010 silver Nissan Navara ute was stolen from Mark Place between 9am Friday, August 19 and 9.30am Saturday, August 20. The vehicle had registration CI19PU.
A 1999 red Kawasaki 900 motorcycle was stolen from a Crest Road address between 8pm Sunday, August 21 and 6.45am Monday, August 22. The vehicle had registration BHB10 and was secured by a disk lock attached to the front wheel.
Lock it or lose it
Personal identification items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked at Parr Place between 10am Friday, August 19 and 8pm Sunday August 21.
Police report an attempt to steal from an unlocked motor vehicle from Booth Street occurred between 6pm Sunday, August 21 and 7.50am Monday, August 22. The driver's side door was found open and appears glove box and compartments have been ransacked but appears nothing was stolen.
A vehicle parked securely on Wanniassa Street had the rear window smashed and a handbag containing bank cards was stolen between 9 and 10.10pm on Saturday, August 20. The alleged offender/s then utilised the cards at a number of businesses in the Queanbeyan area in order to purchase goods.
A vehicle parked on McCrae Street had number plates stolen some time between 9am Friday, August 19 and 10.30am Sunday, August 21.
A vehicle parked on Henderson Road had the lock of the rear canopy forced and work tools stolen between 8pm Saturday, August 20 and 10am Sunday, August 21.
An unlocked vehicle parked on Conway Street had a wallet containing bank cards stolen between 9.30pm Friday, August 19 and 10.30am Saturday, August 20.
An unlocked vehicle parked on Cunningham Street had a mobile phone stolen after the offender/s rummaged through the glove box between 9pm Friday, August 19 and 8am Saturday, August 20.
Break and enter
Cash was stolen from an industrial premises on Aurora Avenue which was broken into between 3.30-4.30am on Tuesday, August 23. Unknown offender/s gained entry by breaking the office window.
TIMELY REMINDER
Police are issuing a warning to all motor vehicle owners to ensure they remove all valuables from their vehicles and keep the vehicles locked.
Particularly those people who park in residential unit complexes as police have seen a spate of thefts from these types of locations.

If any one sees any person/s acting suspiciously around parked motor vehicles please contact police with the location / description of the vehicle/s and importantly a description of the person.
