Shaw Vineyard Estate is a family owned and operated business in Murrumbateman, the heart of the Canberra cool climate wine region. The Shaw family first moved to Murrumbateman over 25 years ago, and in 1998 purchased Olleyville, the historic 700-acre fine wool producing property dating back to the mid-19th century.
The estate is truly a family affair headed by Graeme and Ann Shaw, who oversee the operation. Their two children, Tanya and Michael, are both fully employed in the family business as well as Tanya’s husband Michael.
Only a 30 minute drive north of Canberra, Shaw Vineyard’s impressive cellar door houses an exquisite range of hand-made and hand-painted ceramics, exclusively sourced from Italy. Taste the estate grown range of wines then sit down and relax over a glass of wine and a cheese plate. Those who join the wine club receive 20 per cent off the entire estate and reserve range of wines.
