Police seized almost $12 million worth of tobacco plants, leaves, cash and weapons in a raid on a Monaro, New South Wales property on Wednesday.

The joint raid between NSW police and tax office staff led to the seizure of more than 92,000 illegal tobacco plants, more than two tonnes of tobacco leaves, $15,000 in cash, a shot gun and ammunition.
Police from the Monaro Area Local Command and tax officials descended on the Callemondah Road, Shannons Flat property about 9.30am on Wednesday, finding the drugs, cash and gun and ammunition during a search.
The tobacco seized was estimated at more than $11.77 million.
Investigations into the seizure continue.
