"The kids were attacked by alien viruses but the immune systems in their bodies started to fight back, so we had an array of rashes, boils, and radiation burns,” said face painter Deborah Lane.
But fortunately for the families involved, all were likely to recover from the injuries and gory diseases.
“The parents seemed to feel quite confident in being able to treat these wounds at home,” Mrs Lane said.
The children even got to take home their own vile of fake blood to continue the fun and games.
"One of the things that I stress is health and hygiene, so everything that I use has to be absolutely safe,” Mrs Lane said.
