Ms Norman will be running on the Greens ticket.
As a children’s occupational therapist, running a private practice in Karabar, Ms Norman’s work sees her committed to producing the best possible outcomes for children.
“My work involves me thinking about how I can best help children to have a good future and to reach their potential,” Ms Norman said.
“I had a similar motivation for joining The Greens, and I have a similar motivation for standing for council.
“I want to work hard to provide a good environment for the younger generation as they grow up.”
One issue that Ms Norman sees as crucial, not only for young people but for the community as a whole, is caring for the environment.
“I believe that we need to protect the environment as much as possible while still providing for the needs of people living in our towns and cities,” she said.

Introducing energy efficiency targets and renewable energy into council operations and facilities, and supporting businesses that actively recycle resources are also strategies she would like to see introduced.
