While two other Christmas parties organised by the council were cancelled in the wake of the weather forecast last week, the Queanbeyan party goers basked in a beautiful summer’s afternoon.
The very merry community Christmas party featured a host of events including carols, school performances, roving performers, live music including from Brewn, and even street food available for purchase.
Santa even payed a visit to the delighted crowd who packed the amphitheatre at the park on the banks of the Queanbeyan River.
