Following a very hot weekend in the region over the weekend, it seems there will be little respite until Thursday.
Monday is expected to reach a top of 35 degrees in Goulburn, 29 degrees in Bowral, 33 degrees in Yass, 32 degrees in Queanbeyan and 27 degrees in Braidwood.
For most towns in the region, there is between a 30 per cent and 50 percent chance of rain.
On Tuesday the maximum temperature for Goulburn and Queanbeyan is expected to reach 39 degrees, for Braidwood it is expected to reach 37 degrees, for Bowral 36 degree, for Yass 40 degrees and for Crookwell 37 degrees.
Maximum temperatures are expected to drop to the low 30s on Wednesday and the low to mid 20s on Thursday.
On Friday, the maximum temperature for Goulburn is expected to hit 29 degrees, at Braidwood 27 degrees, in Bowral 25 degrees, at Yass 31 degrees and in Queanbeyan 30 degrees.
Across most centres in the region maximum temperatures on Saturday are expected to sit about the low to mid 30s and on Sunday they are expected to sit around the mid 30s.
