Customers will be given a copy of Cooking With Heart written by celebrity chef and My Kitchen Rules judge Pete Evans when they spend $30 at Bakers Delight and CBD Meats or $100 at Coles.
Cooking with Heart features delicious and healthy summer recipes like Shakshuka eggs, prawn and avocado stack and ocean trout with green mango salad.
The 192-page cookbook was made exclusively for customers of AMP Capital Shopping Centres and Riverside Plaza is part of this group.
"I have chosen my favourite recipes and worked with the Heart Foundation to make them even more 'heart healthy'," Mr Evans said.
"I do believe you are what you eat, so whenever possible I try to find the freshest and healthiest menu and pantry items for my family and myself. I hope you enjoy these recipes and have a great time cooking your way to a healthier, stronger, happier heart."
Local nutritionist Kate Freeman held cooking demonstrations this week, whipping up shawarma chicken with yoghurt sauce, wok fried Asian vegetables and spiced honey smoothie.
"Overall, the cook book is great," Ms Freeman said. "Although containing some complex recipes that may be overwhelming to an amateur cook, there are plenty of very simple, very tasty recipes that show how easy it is to put together a meal that's both nutritious and delicious. Hopefully people feel inspired to challenge their cooking skills and to try new things! I know I was."
The Riverside Plaza Pete Evans cookbook promotion has already begun, be quick as this offer is limited to the first 500 customers only.
