Full job description

Randstad Education is seeking a bachelor or diploma qualified educator for a permanent full-time position as a lead educator at an early learning centre located in Queanbeyan.

About the centre

Your new centre features beautifully designed open plan rooms, a dedicated art studio, dining hall and spacious outdoor settings tailored for each age group. You will find roadways, sandpits and beautifully planted areas where children are encouraged to ignite their curiosities and sense of discovery. The curriculum includes the literacy and numeracy, scientific discovery and music exploration to allow children to explore the fundamentals of music, movement and rhythm.

About the position

Currently the early learning centre has lead educator positions available across the toddler and preschool rooms.

As a Room Leader, you will be expected to:

  • Lead and mentor a team of educators to deliver high quality education and care
  • Facilitate play based, holistic learning in a safe and supportive environment
  • Observe and document learning through childcare applications
  • Assist with the planning and implementing of programs for individuals and groups of children
  • Adhere to National Quality Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework
