The dark-haired blue-eyed baby, daughter of former Queanbeyan resident Christy Collier and partner Daniel Ferguson-Hill, met Sonya Kruger and David Campbell on the set of Today Extra at just seven weeks old. (She appeared alongside mum Christy in a segment on mindful parenting.)
But Charlotte's extended Queanbeyan family - including great-grandmother Roma Newham, of Morton Street - were beside themselves a couple of weeks ago when Charlotte upped the ante and had her own scene on Channel Nine's Love Child. Charlotte played the newly-born baby daughter of Dr Joan Millar (played by Jessica Marais) in an episode that aired on Tuesday May 2.
Members of both the Collier and Newham families in Queanbeyan took to Facebook to share the joy of Charlotte's prime time television debut.
According to Christy, her baby girl (nicknamed Charlie) scored the gig after a successful audition at the Channel Nine studios in Sydney.
"Charlie's nan in Sydney found out about a spot on Love Child and said we should put forward for it, which we did, and got it!" Christy said.
"It was more fun for me than anything.
"They now have Charlie on file and may put her forward for roles in other shows."
Charlie is the granddaughter of the Queanbeyan couple Garry and Debbie Collier, and Sydneysiders David Hill and Deb Ferguson.
