Thousands streamed into Exhibition Park, and shade was a highly sought after commodity as the temperature climbed into the 30s.
While popular fan favourite event the woodchopping was axed from this year's event, there was still plenty on offer. According to eight-year-old Mathew Girvan, the rides were the best place to be. "I really liked the Cha-cha, because you get to spin around and it's really fast," he said. Bill Galeff was also one of the many in attendance at the show, who was there with his one-year-old grandchild Charlie. "I usually come to the show every year," he said. "I just enjoy bringing the grandchildren along, they're all looking forward to Peppa Pig."
