Pets of the week | Spike and Buddy

Updated April 9 2018 - 9:23am, first published 8:48am

Hello, my name is Spike. I originally came in to the RSPCA as a stray kitten and I have been returned for being too boisterous. I am an outgoing, playful, and happy kitten, who is still learning the boundaries of play. I am a very excitable cat, and I enjoy a good game of wand toys or soccer (its a paper ball, but it's still fun!). If you were considering adopting me there would need to be a few things to consider first. I am ideally not a cat that would be suitable for a home with children – when I get too excited I forget myself a little bit. I have been living with my new friend Buddy, and we get on so well (exploring, playing, wrestling, snuggling) that the team have decided to BOND us so we get adopted together. We are very active cats, so would benefit from regular outdoor walks on a secure harness, or have access to a safe, enclosed cat run. We are probably too confident to have unsupervised outdoor time. That being said, I am also quite affectionate. I am a good cat to have a conversation with, and I enjoy a good cuddle. Looking for an active bonded pair? Come and have a chat to staff! Visit our shelter at 12 Kirkpatrick Street, Weston.
