EARLIER:
Police have appealed for public assistance to locate a Wamboin teenager, missing since Monday morning.
Charles Bouwman, aged 14, was last seen leaving his home on Denley Drive in Wamboin, on his way to school at about 7:15am on Monday April 9.
His family reported his disappearance to authorities when he did not arrive at school.
There are serious concerns for Charles’ welfare, as his disappearance is out of character.
He is described as being about 165 centimetres tall, of Caucasian appearance, with short blonde hair, brown eyes.
When he was last seen he was wearing jeans, a black jacket and carrying a backpack.
Police are urging anyone who sees Charles or has information about his whereabouts to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
