Police are appealing for information following a road-rage incident in Queanbeyan where a 70-year-old man was hit with a shovel and another man assaulted on Saturday night.

At about 10:10pm the 70-year-old man was driving along Southbar Road.
Police were told a grey Honda Accord sedan was travelling behind the man and was driving in an erratic manner before it overtook him and slowed down.
When both cars reached Donald Road, the 70-year-old man was verbally threatened by three men in the Honda.
The men in the Honda followed the man to Cameron Road where the they got out and again threatened the man.
One of the men struck the 70-year-old in the back of the head with a garden shovel causing the man to fall. He was then kicked and punched to the ground by the three men.
A witness attempted to intervene but was also assaulted by the men, who then left in the Honda.
NSW Ambulance paramedics were called to the scene and took both men to Queanbeyan Hospital.
The 70-year-old man suffered bruised ribs and a laceration to the head which required sutures, while a 43-year-old man was treated for a bleeding nose, bruising and swelling to his face and ribs.
A crime scene was established and the shovel was secured for forensic analysis.
The men are described as being aged between 20 to 30 years-old, with medium builds, olive skin and dark hair.
