Acclaimed as the “Angel of Australia”, Mirusia has gained worldwide fame as she featured as the soprano soloist with André Rieu and the Johann Strauss Orchestra for over 10 years.
She has performed in front of millions and featured in some of the most popular and highest selling opera recordings of all time.
Mirusia’s career is now in full swing forging her own career as a solo artist. Her recent album “From the Heart” and tour of the same name has received outstanding reviews and has touched the hearts of many audiences.
Critics her performances have been declared; “heart-warming, personal and they leave you no choice but to love Mirusia.”
Mirusia studied classical voice at the Queensland Conservatorium in Australia and at the age of 21 was announced as the youngest ever recipient of the prestigious Dame Joan Sutherland Opera Award.
After graduation, her career blossomed when she toured the world for 10 years as a featured soloist with the Johann Strauss Orchestra. This much loved orchestra is based in Maastricht, Netherlands and is lead by the acclaimed violinist, André Rieu.
The stadium-size concerts have given Mirusia a wonderful opportunity ton sing for many millions of fans.
