It will showcase the Tuggeranong Valley and will bring life into the streets, laneways and lake foreshore of the Tuggeranong Town Centre from 11am-6pm.
SouthFest is excited that Etsy Made Local will be partnering with SouthFest giving the community two events in one with their renowned handmade and vintage market.
We are seeking local business, community groups, sporting clubs, performers, food vendors, market stalls, schools, service providers and individuals to be involved.
Together we will bring the party to our town centre. So please put it in your calendars.
See www.southfest.com.au or www.facebook.com.au/southfest for more details.
A small group from the Tuggeranong Community Council attended a meeting with Minister Meegan FitzHarris and representatives from Transport Canberra about next year’s proposed new timetable.
It was pleasing to hear that after many, many letters and submission from the public of Canberra, Transport Canberra has agreed to some changes. We hope they will present these changes that affect Tuggeranong at our November meeting.
The next meeting of the TCC will be held on October 2, 7.30pm at the Vikings Town Centre Club.
We will hear the results of the research done on Lake Tuggeranong and the latest on water projects being built around the lake.
We will also hear from our local member, Chris Steel (member for Murrumbidgee which includes Kambah), who is the new minister for City Services and Community Services.
