This Remembrance Day will mark 100 years since the armistice that ended the Great War 1914-1918.
It will also bring to a close the official Anzac Centenary commemorations.
The Queanbeyan RSL Sub-Branch will host a local commemoration service.
The service will be held on Sunday November 11 on the corner of Lowe and Monaro Street, near the Queanbeyan Visitor Information Centre.
It will commence at 10:40am sharp, opposite the war memorial and poppy display.
