The Monaro Colts Academy under 16s will take on Illawarra Dragons in the under 16 from 10am.
The Monaro Colts under 18s will follow, taking on Illawarra under 18s from 11.30am.
Both these teams will be competing in the Andrew Johns Cup and Laurie Daley Shield from February till April in the CRL Championships.
The Monaro Colts under 16s will have five local Stockmen boys and the under 18 Colts will be represented by three Goulburn Bulldogs players.
The u16 Stockmens are Damien Chamberlain, Josh Latham, Codey McCallum, Jackson Boyt and Lachlan Turner, whilst the u18s will have Jack Peppernell, Menkar Lowah and Thomas Croker.
Goulburn District Junior Rugby League secretary Rod Latham said the boys have been training since October, with only a couple of weeks break since the end of the 2018 season.
“The day is also a registration day for prospective players for the Goulburn Junior Stockmen’s 2019 teams,” Mr Latham said.
“We will be looking to field three girls tackle sides in 2019 one each in under 15s, under 18s and Open women’s.”
The canteen at the Workers Arena will be operating all day, serving food, snacks and drinks.
