A man wanted by Western Australia police after a car chase on the night of Tuesday 12 February, has apparently crossed the country and crashed his vehicle into a paddock near Braidwood in the early hours of this morning.

The man abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot.
Police have seized the vehicle and are searching in the Deloraine area for the man.
He is described as fair-skinned with a slim build, about 175cm tall, with short brown hair, hazel eyes and tattoos on both forearms.
Police will be issuing a statement later this afternoon.
