The charity is set to benefit from the proceeds of a major fundraiser by the Rotary Club of Canberra City this weekend, Friday-Sunday, March 22-24. Rotary's Autumn Antiques and Collectables Fair will be held at Albert Hall.
Autumn is always a colourful time in Canberra and the Antiques and Collectables Fair will be just the place to check out the vibrant autumn colours of Moorcroft pottery and Royal Doulton flambé figures.
There will be two new dealers at this Fair: Annie’s Collectables from Wamboin (NSW) with glass, silver, brass and copper wares; and Steel and Shot from Kippax (ACT) with flintlock and percussion antique arms.
The Rotary Club of Canberra City and exhibitors are proud of the standard of this long-running Fair and what it gives back to the local community.
Entry: adults, $10; concession, $8; accompanied children under 14, free. Fair hours: Friday, 6pm to 9pm; Saturday, 10am to 5pm; and Sunday, 10am to 4pm. The venue is wheelchair-friendly.
