ACT Policing is seeking witnesses and dash-cam footage in relation to a collision on Cotter Road, Curtin near the Equestrian Park on Saturday, May 25.

About 5.20pm, a white Toyota utility and a white Honda CRV collided, causing the CRV to leave the road and flip.
The driver of the CRV was left trapped inside as the driver of the Toyota did not stop to assist, but left the scene.
ACT Emergency Services responded and the CRV driver was removed from their vehicle by ACT Fire and Rescue members.
Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision, as well as anyone whose dash-cam captured footage of the lead-up to the collision or the collision itself.

2019 Canberra's Choice Award
The ACT Policing Volunteers in Policing Program are joint winners of Canberra's Choice Award for 2019.
The Volunteers in Policing Team currently has 53 volunteers who perform 22 different roles in support of ACT Policing.
These volunteers are the first point of contact with the public and provide Justice of the Peace support.
Other roles include role playing for police recruits and as juries in mock courts for training.
The work undertaken by these volunteers frees up police resources and provides a unique experience for people who are interested in volunteering in the justice system.
