A man has appeared in Queanbeyan Local Court on Tuesday on multiple firearms offences.

Police said at about 8.45pm on June 2 a shot was fired into a rural residence in Carwoola, 12 km south-east of Queanbeyan.
Police attended and spoke to a 35-year-old woman, who was not injured. They recovered a projectile from the home during a search.
A crime scene warrant was later executed on an adjoining property on Captains Flat Rd where five unregistered firearms including an unregistered Luger pistol, a home made pistol and an imitation Glock and two silencers were seized.
A 32-year-old man was arrested and conveyed to Queanbeyan Police Station where he was charged with possess prohibited firearm, possess prohibited weapons, and not ensuring safe keeping.
He was refused bail and appeared in Queanbeyan Local Court on Tuesday where he was granted bail. The matter was adjourned to July.
