Boxer and ex-rugby league player Joe Williams will strike a blow for mental wellbeing on Wednesday, June 12, when he brings his suicide prevention event to the Q Theatre from 6.30pm.

Joe's presentation "The Enemy Within", based on his book of the same name, speaks of his own battle with mental illness, and his journey back to health.
Joe played rugby league for Penrith, Canterbury and South Sydney, before becoming a professional boxer.
The free event has been organised by the Suicide Prevention Awareness Network Queanbeyan and will include a sausage sizzle.
Last year Joe was honoured with Suicide Prevention Australia's LiFE Award for his outstanding work.
