It's around the halfway point of the season for the State League 1 women's and State League 2 Queanbeyan hockey sides.
Shayne Monahan, the coach of both teams, is extremely satisfied with the way the men are going at the moment.
"Things are going alright for them," Monahan said.
"They have only dropped one game.
"We're cruising along pretty well and we're building some momentum now."
Although the women are sandwiched in the middle of their ladder, Monahan is happy with their progress too.
"The women are going well too, but their just not quite closing out games yet," he said.
"We've had a couple of wins and draws, but I'm really impressed with the way the girls are going.
"In the last two years, they have come across in leaps and bounds.
"We have a good system, the girls know the pattern and they're enjoying their hockey."
Monahan has a lot to handle as a coach as he also trains the junior players, but juggles it well.
"We train at the same time on Wednesday and I set time aside for each of the sides," he said.
The next round begins on the weekend of June 15, so in the meantime, the players have been enjoying some free time.
"Everyone has gone their separate ways during the bye, but will get straight back into training on Wednesday," Monahan said.
The men sit third on the ladder while the women are currently eighth.
