On Thursday, June 20, Bullivant received a distinguished long service award at the NSW Community Sports Awards, presented by Sport NSW at Parliament House.
The awards night recognised the outstanding achievements and contributions to community sport in the state which is mainly carried out by a volunteer workforce.
Bullivant has been involved with the club since the early '80s, became their secretary from 1983 and was president from 1993 to 2017.
The club's longest serving president mentored and supported many volunteers, players and committee members to ensure the club's sustainability.
Sport NSW Chairperson Carolyn Campbell said Bullivant was a deserving recipient.
It is because of their efforts that NSW remains the premier sports state in Australia.

"Sport in NSW relies on people such as Gary who have voluntarily dedicated their time over many decades," Campbell said.
"Put simply, sport would not exist without them.
"It is because of their efforts that NSW remains the premier sports state in Australia.
"Without these hard-working, selfless volunteers, tens of thousands of boys and girls, men and women, would not be able to enjoy the health, social and community benefits sport provides.
"Sport remains at the heart of communities across NSW and has the unique ability to bring people from different cultures and backgrounds together."
Although Bullivant is now retired, he still helps the football club by gaining grants to improve the Tigers' home ground facilities.
Bullivant was one of 20 recipients from a wide range of sports to receive their award from NSW sports minister John Sidoti.
