Jay Bonazza's parents met riding trail bikes in the 1970s, so it's little wonder he has thrown his hat in the ring to compete in an international Harley-Davidson competition.

He will compete with Canberra Harley-Davidson against over 200 dealers from more than 30 countries to be crowned king of the bike.
"The challenge is to take our standard Harley-Davidson Breakout and turn it into something unique... using only our imagination, skill and a budget no bigger than half the cost of the original model."
Mr Bonazza, a customer service manager, says his inspiration for the motorcycle named Trainbreak is from the Night Train Model.
It was the first Harley he owned.
It's been almost 10 years since Harley made the last Night Train, and the custom motorcycle is how it would look if Harley were to relaunch the model.
"It's time to break out the new night train," the competition entry reads.
He set out to create a simple and subtle motorcycle combining one of the popular modern wide tyre models - the Breakout - with some classic mid to late 2000s styling.
He chose the model because of its fat rear tyre and classic bobtail rear fender.
The battle begins with a public vote between the 26 national contenders, and a winner is crowned in each country. The national winners will then go head-to-head with custom bikes across the world.
Across Australia and New Zealand competitors from Mackay to Christchurch have entered.
Finals will be held at EICMA - the Milan Motorcycle Show - in November where the ultimate winner will be crowned as champion in the Battle of the King, chosen by a panel of experts.
