RSPCA Pet of the Week | Say hello to a little Possum

WHAT A SWEETIE: She's shy but cuddly, and needs a home to live out her years.

WHAT A SWEETIE: She's shy but cuddly, and needs a home to live out her years.

Hello, Possum here! I have been surrendered to the shelter due to my owners moving overseas, and I would like to find a lovely new retirement home please.

I am used to living with a single adult (no children), but have lived with small dogs and a cat for some of my life. Please keep in mind that, if I were to live with other pets as well as settling into a new home, it may be more overwhelming for me and I will need to be given more time to become comfortable and get used to so many new things.

I have been described as shy, cuddly and affectionate, loving to spend my time with my human family and receive lots of attention and love. I am used to an indoor-only lifestyle that I would need to continue in my new home.

If you have a lovely retirement home that you could offer me, I would love to meet you!

  • Possum is a lovely 12 year-old muted tortoisehell domestic short hair cat. The adoption fee for Possum is $195 which helps to cover the cost of her mandatory de-sexing, vaccinations, microchip and a lot of care from the RSPCA crew. Visit our shelter at 12 Kirkpatrick Street, Weston.
