Some 24 teams of cyclists rode 450km between Canberra and Charlottes Pass in a bid to raise over half a million dollars for the cause.
Half the teams started on the Saturday and the other half on the Sunday.
On the first day, teams rode from Canberra to Jindabyne and stayed at the Jindabyne Sports Recreational Centre.
On day two, teams rode from Jindabyne to Charlotte's Pass and on the final day, they went back to Canberra.
It may sound difficult, and it is.
Plenty of preparation went into the three day challenge including months of training, planning and fundraising for cyclists and their support crews.
One was the riders was Goulburn's Leigh Quade who thought the challenge went really well and raised about $16000 for the cause he described as "exceptional".
"We've been doing it since 2013," Quade said.
"There were a few guys that were a little unfit this year, so it certainly was a challenge.
"The funds came through a combination of donations.
"Each individual was responsible for raising about $1000."
Quade first decided to take part in the challenge due to his mutual friends in Canberra that did it previously.
"I thought it would be a good idea and haven't looked back, especially when it is for an exceptional cause," he said.
It should be noted the cycle challenge is not a race.
