FARMERS are embracing rain which has continued to fall across parts of the Southern Tablelands since early Monday morning.

The heaviest falls have been recorded in the north eastern part of the region.
Crookwell received the most rain out of the region's capitals with 15.8 millimetres by 9am at the Bureau of Meteorology's weather station at the post office.
Rain also fell in Goulburn overnight with 7.4mm recorded at the city's TAFE and airport.
In Braidwood 6.6mm was recorded and in Canberra 13.2mm.
Yass received less than a millimetre, although 13 kilometres away in Bowning 2.4mm was recorded.
Despite little rain in Braidwood overnight, it is currently showing the best soil moisture according to Local Land Services South East soil moisture probe network.

- Taralga - (not recording, but received 15mm according to BOM's weather station at the post office)

There is a further chance of more showers across the region from Thursday to Saturday.
