Lake Albert Foodworks' Bailey Porter said they were alerted to the incident at 3.30am on Saturday by their security company.

"We have been told a stolen vehicle was used to run through the doors and smash all the glass to get inside," she said.

The thieves attempted to get away with cigarettes but were unable to access the cabinet, according to Ms Porter, coming out with a small haul.

"When they realised they couldn't get into the cigarette cabinet, they ended up just taking two 2L strawberry milks and some lollipops," she said.

The incident marks the second for the Foodworks in six months after they were hit by an armed robbery in December last year.

Forest Hill Foodworks was also a target of crime earlier this year, and Ms Porter said this morning's thieves didn't stop at their store.

"We've been told they also went on to the Adelong Foodworks last night and hit them too," she said.

A police investigation into the incident is now underway and police are appealing to the public for information following the two aggravated break, enter and steal offences.

Police were told a silver Nissan Navara sedan was stolen from a home in River Road, Gobbagombalin between 12am and 2am on June 6.

About 3.40am that morning, the vehicle drove into the supermarket in Gregory Crescent, Lake Albert.

A group of up to four males then entered the store and stole groceries.

At 4.30am, the sedan drove into a service station on Tumut Street, Adelong, before a group of males ran into the business and stole several items.

Officers from the Riverina Police District established two crime scenes and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding both robberies.

The stolen Nissan Navara was recovered in Wagga later that day.

As investigations continue, police are appealing for anyone witnesses or anyone with dashcam vision in the area at the time to come forward.
