Four Labor politicians will be tested for coronavirus after attending Black Lives Matter protests around the country. "They've gone off and got tested out of an abundance of caution," Labor leader Anthony Albanese said in Canberra. There are questions about how useful those test results will be though as they may have been to soon to show a positive result.

In NSW restrictions on adult community sport will be lifted alongside children's sports at the start of next month. National sport restarted with the NRL last month and the AFL will restart this week. But crowds at professional sporting events currently remain off the table, with stadium operators told to begin developing a COVID-19 management plan. NSW had no cases of community transmission today.

Queenslanders had good news today after mass testing of farm workers returned no positive cases. A worker from Victoria had travelled to the farm and has since tested positive. The 24-year-old man flew from Melbourne to Brisbane last week, where he socialised with friends and family, before flying to Bundaberg, checking into shared accommodation and working a shift at a strawberry farm. More than 230 people were tested and 44 are in self isolation.
