A 25-year-old man has been charged with drug and knife offences.

About 7.30pm on Monday, August 2, police observed a 25-year-old man driving his vehicle along Campbell Street in Queanbeyan where he was subsequently stopped.
The man was later searched, where it is alleged he had possession of a small resealable bag containing a prohibited drug.
Additionally, a search of the man's vehicle revealed a number of resealable bags containing more prohibited drugs and a 60 centimetre black machete.
Police arrested the man and conveyed him to Queanbeyan Police Station where he was charged with:
- 1 x Possess Prohibited Drug
- 1 x Supply Prohibited Drug
- 1 x Custody of a Knife in a Public Place
The man was bail refused and is due to front Queanbeyan Local Court on Tuesday, August 3, 2021.
