Bungendore Sports Hub: After an extended period of wet weather, we have been able to access the site and begin to make progress again on the Bungendore Sports Hub. In recent weeks, the first two netball courts have been coming together with floodlights now installed. Once the contractors complete the base preparation for the courts, they will start working on the roads and car parks on site. Preparations are underway for the football fields' playing surface and more floodlights will be installed in the coming weeks. While the netball courts will be completed later this year, we anticipate the Sports Hub to be open for winter sports next year. Construction of the facility buildings may be in progress, with temporary facilities available onsite until the permanent facilities are complete. For more information see here.
