Sheep graziers are being warned that cold temperatures, showers and southwesterly winds are expected Monday night and all day Tuesday in many parts of NSW including the Southern Tablelands.
There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.
Tuesday will be cooler than Monday and partly cloudy with a 50 per cent chance of showers or thunderstorms.
Gusty winds and possible small hail are also possible in the morning and afternoon with winds west to southwesterly 20 to 30 km/h turning southerly 35 to 50 km/h in the middle of the day before decreasing to 25 to 35 km/h on Tuesday night.
