The festival is being held as part of Tennis Australia’s #GetCourtUp campaign, to encourage people to get involved following the popularity of the Australia Open in Melbourne.
The event includes activities for the whole family, like tennis lessons, giveaways and the chance to experience the latest tennis equipment.
Queanbeyan Park Tennis Club vice president Kathy Sly said the festival would also feature free coaching clinics for adults and juniors, and the opportunity to try out Cardio Tennis.
“Tennis Festival is a chance to welcome our new coach and showcase what our club has to offer for the local community,” Ms Sly said.
“Tennis is a sport for all ages and being part of a club has many individual and community benefits.”
A jumping castle, face painting, activity stations, a speed serving competition, barbecue and raffle will also be on offer at the festival.
