The calendar features dogs rescued from local and regional pounds and cared for by ARF volunteers until new loving forever homes are found. Since its inception in 2001, ARF has rescued and rehomed over 3000 dogs and found homes for hundreds more through its extensive community networks.
ARF works with Canberra Pound and plays a major role in helping it to maintain a very high rehoming rate. It also works closely with regional pounds including Queanbeyan, Yass, and Goulburn, and other rescue groups in Canberra and the region.
The calendar ‘supermodels’ were photographed in and around the Canberra region. Many of the stars will be at the launch with their new owners, and together with some of ARF’s current foster dogs and their carers, and ARF members with their dogs and families.
The event is supported by Beef & Barley, which will donate $1 to ARF for every burger sold at the event.
